Office/Operations Manager ( PagerDuty) career opportunity in Toronto, Canada

We’re looking for an extraordinary Office Manager to make our workplace even more awesome than sliced bread. This position is full-time. You will have a highly visible role supporting the day-to-day operations of the office, greeting guests, supporting staff and working with outside partners.

Responsibilities:
Keep everything at the office running smoothly so everyone can focus on building PagerDuty.

-Ensure the facility is clutter free, organized and clean. Don’t worry we have a label maker.
-Be aware of conference room scheduling needs, book meetings, master the equipment and help meetings run like clockwork.
-Help out planning events for team building and company milestones.
-General office tasks: mailing, scanning, emailing, filing, etc.
-Daily cleaning of the kitchenette: empty and/or refill dishwasher, pick up dishes around the office, clean up after catering, ensure food is not wasted. Leftovers are great for yummy snacks or hearty breakfasts.
-Monitor office supplies, swag, pantry, groceries, beer, etc., while ordering as needed. Groceries may require car for specialty items.
-Reception Buzzing: Greet and work with our Postman, UPS/Fedex, interview candidates, partners and friends. They like drinks/snacks, but are often too shy to ask.
-Assist in future office relocation. (Finding an office, and moving us there!)
-Manage new hire equipment policy and laptop recycling program.
-Book hotel and travel for employees or candidates as needed.
-Ensure general office supplies are readily available at all times.
-Select and coordinate with vendors to schedule building improvements and repairs.
-Work with San Francisco based recruitment team to arrange and confirm candidate interviews and schedules.
-Record, track and monitor Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Expenses. Basic bookkeeping.
-Act as a company liaison to our benefits, HR, and immigration consultants.
-Work with our remote IT department to help debug and fix issues with audio/video equipment.

Requirements:
-Undergraduate degree.
-Super-human problem solving abilities.

-Be willing to work a flexible schedule as the job demands.
-Previous experience with tech start-ups is a bonus!
