Instructor required for learn to skate program with adults (18+) who wish to start skating or improve their skills.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide on ice instruction to program registrants and ensure the continuing safety of all participants while on the ice.
• Develop detailed program plans for a variety of ages and skill levels
• Provide feedback and progress report and personal development plans to  registrants.
• Provide excellent customer service to program registrants.
• Perform all necessary administrative program functions pertaining to the operation of the classes.
• Liaise with Facility Manager, Program Supervisor, Facility Operations and Customer Service staff.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:
• Must be a certified Skate Canada Coach or hold an equivalent certification.
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to organize and instruct a variety of skating levels. 
• Must hold a current First Aid Certificate at the emergency level.
• The candidate must present a satisfactory criminal records check with vulnerable sector screening, dated within 30 days of hire, prior to commencing the position.
• Participants and instructors must wear CSA approved helmets.
