DuPont Pioneer, the world’s leading source of agricultural seed technology, inoculants, and agronomic information, is currently looking for an Independent Sales Representative to promote Pioneer brand products in the area of Middle Lake, Saskatchewan.

We are currently seeking an individual that embodies these types of values to exclusively promote Pioneer brand products through an independent agency.
The Independent Sales Representative role is a full service seed agent providing sales and service to local farmers.
This individual will market a wide range of products and provide full agronomic service to area growers.
Independent Sales Representatives are independent contractors who exclusively promote, sell and distribute Pioneer products.
They are compensated through a commission program.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Independent Sales Representatives are responsible for establishing agency goals, creating agency and customer plans, working with local growers to conduct yield tests and comparisons, and utilizing advanced technology, including laptop computers to better serve customer needs and to manage agency business transactions.
Independent sales reps are expected to attend various DuPont Pioneer business meetings and training seminars, provide regular updates to their Account Manager, and build solid relationships with local growers.
Sales Representatives have an assigned area of responsibility and are expected to serve their current customers and gain new business by working with designated prospects.
Sales representatives also manage various sales, support, and administrative activities throughout the year.
Competencies and Experience Desired:
Qualified candidates should have an interest in agriculture and the desire to help educate local growers of the benefits of Pioneer brand seed products.
Strong relationship building skills, sales skills, and agronomic knowledge are required.
Experience working with seed, fertilizer, and herbicides is a priority.
Animal feed and nutritional understanding would be a plus! Computer skills including use of Windows and Microsoft Word are necessary.
Candidates with a farming background, sales experience, and/or business planning and development experience will be strongly considered. Compensation: Commission
