Based in Kingston, Ontario, you will serve as the technical representative for the platform screen door system scope of work for a Systems Project.

In your role you will:
- Develop, write and publish technical documents/deliverables, including Technical Requirement Description (TRD), Interface Control Documents (ICD);
- Design and installation drawings/Documentation, Design Review documents, test procedures and reports for the PSDS scope;
- Perform analyses and lead the preparation of compliance activities;
- Review of supplier documentation, client documentation and other Bombardier documentation to ensure requirements are properly traced and confirmed;
- Lead meetings with suppliers, clients and internal meetings with direct reports and other discipline engineers within the Electrical and Mechanical scope.
- Liaise and communicate with team, other Electrical and Mechanical engineers and with on-site engineering team;
- Develop plans and define tasks necessary to complete project including input to project planning and scheduling and earned value reporting;
- Write correspondence to support the flow of information between Project Management and the client, procurement and the suppliers, and stakeholders within the company.

Qualifications:
As our ideal candidate:
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- You cumulate at least five (5) years of experience as an Engineer working with sub systems;
- Your experience with PSDS (power supply and distribution systems) in transit applications will be considered as a strong asset.
- You have experience working and interacting with suppliers
- You have a strong ability for troubleshooting
- Your field experience would be very helpful;
- You are proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite
- You have excellent English communications skills, both written and spoken.

Additional information: The incumbent for this position must be able to travel as required.
