Full Time Software Engineer
This role starts immediately and is based in Toronto, Ontario.
Position Summary:
As a Software Engineer on the sprint team, you will design, develop and implement business process improvements. You will partner heavily with Software Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Product Managers, Test Engineers, and business users, all while delivering rock solid systems.

You should feel comfortable working in a fast paced, cross-country environment and excel at problem solving.

Our development cycle runs lean and it is normal to have code written and released in just a few days.

Responsibilities:
- Develop software to support the ratings business
- Build out the application infrastructure that powers our next generation analytics platform
- Provide mentorship to your peers (Software Engineers)

Requirements:
- Excellent coding skills; software that works, is reliable, testable and maintainable should be what you do by default
- Expert level experience of C# is an asset, but you are language agnostic and have mastery over several software stacks
- Relational Database Design and Implementation: SQL Server/MySQL/NoSQL
- In-depth knowledge of internet technologies, protocols, and software design patterns
- Self-learning and capable of handling the responsibility that comes with autonomy

Experience with one or several of the following a plus:
-Web Design and Development: CSS/HTML/JavaScript/AngularJS/C#/Microsoft MVC
-Relational Database Design and Implementation: SQL Server/MySQL/MongoDB
-Message Queueing: IBM WebSphere MQ/RabbitMQ
-Continuous Integration: TeamCity/CruiseControl/Jenkins
-Contribution/Participation in Open Source development projects
-Working as part of a small, focused team
