Summary of Duties:
The Merchandiser will support the commercial team with meal sales and logistics and be responsible for coordinating rail shipments to customers and warehouses. Duties will also include processing sales orders and responding to customer inquiries in a timely, efficient, and proactive manner, using each customer contact as an opportunity to display Bunge’s commitment to provide excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the selling of soymeal and canola meal as per established basis, crush plan, and meal position
Receive rail scheduling from meal customers and coordinate rail shipments with the crush plant; work as a liaison between the customers and crush plant
Contract and pricing entry; execution of CBOT futures to hedge corresponding sales
Ensuring inventory issues at the plants and warehouses are addressed, in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
Daily review of each customer’s contract position and proactively advise customers of their impending delivery requirements to meet contract commitments.
Generate invoices; prepare and review sales reports.
Monitor customer credit limits and account receivables, working closely with the credit department
Engaging customers in utilizing Bungeservices
Maintain productive working relationships with Trading, Production, Logistics and other internal departments.

Other duties as required
Skills/Experience Requirements:
Completion of a post-secondary education, preferably with a business diploma and above average scholastic achievement.
Two years experience in a sales related environment, with a demonstrated aptitude for superior customer service.
Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications, such as Excel and Word.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy
Unrestricted cross-border mobility.
Valid driver’s licence
