Salary(s):   CL2 $31,320.00 – $35,727.00 per year

An eligibility list may be created for similar positions and will remain in effect for 12 months.

A satisfactory security Check, Criminal Record Search, Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check are conditions of employment.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Comprehensive experience and ability performing clerical and/or administrative support duties in a court or legal-related environment.
- Experience and ability in creating and maintaining physical and electronic files, preferably involving legal case files.
- Analytical experience and ability to interpret and apply established protocols and process- detailed documentation while maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Experience and discretion dealing with confidential and/or sensitive material.

Desired:
- Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant Course or equivalent.
- Experience with database applications including PRISM and CCAIN.
- Experience and knowledge of Prosecutions processes or policies relating to Disclosure.
- Experience and ability to work with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Outlook or equivalent.

Duties:
The Disclosure Unit Clerk is responsible for the preparation of electronic and physical prosecution files, accurate entry of charges, involvements and all investigative material into Prosecutions Information and Scheduling Management System (PRISM), as well as the redaction and preparation of  particulars for disclosure using standard office equipment and custom software. Other duties may include mail management, reception duties and the delivery and collection of documents to and from various office locations.

Overtime may be required and incumbent may be required to work Sunday shifts.
