Qualifications:

    15 years hands on livestock management experience required
    Large scale cow ranch background experience required
    Bison handling
    Bison herd health
    Good animal health
    Bachelor's degree in production agriculture, range management or similar
    Additional training desirable in low stress livestock handling, holistic resource management, ranching for profit, range land monitoring employee management, communication or like disciplines
    Handle routine maintenance and general repair

Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing This South Central Canadian employer who is searching for a solid Ranch Manager who will oversee a large scale of Bison, 12-1300 head or more. Person doesn't need to have a Bison background, but will need at least a solid cow ranch management background with over 15 years hands on experience. Looking for a Bachelor's degree in production agriculture, range management or similar, with additional training in low stress livestock handling, holistic resource management, ranching for profit or life disciplines.
