Compensation:  $60,000.00 to $72,000.00 per year

Our client, a full service International Bank with a growing presence in Canada is seeking a Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to move from a 100% credit analysis role to one that will include some origination/business development (Approximately 30%). Please note that this is not a 100% business development/origination role, however, it is an entry level role that will enable you to take your corporate banking career to the next level.

There are five components to this role:
Originating and closing deals;
 Managing relationships with existing companies to generate loan assets, corporate deposits and fee income;
 Protecting the stake holders' interests by making independent assessments of risk and structure loan proposals to win deals;
Managing organic growth, client retention and improving risk profile & profitability of client;
 Monitoring the existing portfolio of corporate loan accounts in order to maintain them as performing assets. In terms of the breakdown of responsibilities, 30% of the role is Business Development, while 70% of the role is maintenance of existing clients.
Job Requirements:
As a strong candidate for the Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking role, you have: 1 year of experience in commercial or corporate banking analysis/account management; strong relationship management skills; an MBA (preferred) or Undergraduate degree in Business or Economics
