Description:
Primary Focus
The Senior Advisor Change Management will:
Lead Change Management efforts on large/medium sized change management projects/initiatives within the CORP BU or Enterprise wide
Work with stakeholder groups to formulate project specific plans and activities
Independently develop a set of actionable and targeted change management tactics, including but not limited to communication plans, stakeholder assessment and engagement plans, organizational readiness assessments, and training based on the “Enbridge” change management approach and methodology

Responsibilities:
Develop a change management strategy based on a situational awareness of the details of the change and the stakeholders being impacted by the change
Support project team in integrating change management activities into the project plans
Work with a range of stakeholders to influence, assess and enhance all change levers in the organization
Coach senior leaders and executives in the Organizational Change Management (OCM) methodology, responsibilities and actions; assisting them with mandates as change sponsors, messaging, key approaches etc. Provide direct support and coaching to front-line managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions
Support the various project/process teams/committees to integrate change management activities into their implementation plans
Work with the organization to measure achievement of business objectives
Identify potential people-side risks, anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
Plan training programs, understand changes and training needs by audience, develop and deliver targeted training materials to all relevant levels of the organization
Work with the Project/Program Manager and project team to integrate change into the work plans
Provide OCM coaching to HR Business Partners so that they may support smaller change efforts within their client groups
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in all departments; engage in business development activities to actively sell the capabilities of the OCM team within the organization
Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
Contribute to the success, profile, reputation and ongoing development of the Corporate Change Management Team
Will act as back-up for the Senior Manager, Change Management as required

Qualifications:
Degree/diploma required with a major in Business, Psychology, Communication or Human Resources preferred
8+ years of broad business experience including change leadership roles on large projects
Deep knowledge, understanding and experience in organizational change management principles and methodologies
Ability to think and act strategically while operating with sufficient granularity to gain an in depth understanding of the activity and issues
Ability to deliver tactical components of the change plans (communications, training, etc.)
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization, from the field to executive leadership; has adept relationship management and credibility building skills
Organized to deal with multiple competing projects and demands
Exceptional and concise communication skills – both written and verbal – for all audiences and across a variety of communication vehicles
Project Management knowledge and experience
