Project Controls Specialist - Project Controls - Planning - EPCM -Calgary,AB
Project Controls Specialist required to work for our client, a major EPCM inCalgary,AB.
THE WORK:
The Project Controls Specialist will be placed in charge of supervising the Planning team, particularly in the development of critical path schedules based on engineering, procurement and construction plans. Ultimately, your role will be to lead a team of Area Planners to execute the project with the highest level of due diligence.
KEY SKILLS:
- At least 10 years experience in project controls, 5+ on large projects
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
- Experience working with Primavera P6
- A strong Management background working with and developing direct reports
- Understanding of and experience with project management principles including detailed engineering, scope development, budget management, procurement, cost estimating, etc.
- Track record of developing projects from business concept to project delivery
