DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Site Director or Site Lead, Human Resources Services, the incumbent participates in the provision of a variety of human resources services including staffing, employee relations, and labour relations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
    Successful completion of a recognized Administrative Assistant or Secretarial training program required.
    A combination of education and experience may be considered. 
    Certificate in Human Resource Management from a recognized post-secondary institution or enrollment and completion of the program within 5 years from date of hire.
    Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and Outlook) required.
    Previous experience using the Talentflow Electronic Recruitment System preferred.
    Minimum of three years experience in a unionized environment performing a broad range of Human Resource functions including:  employee relations, labour relations and staffing.
    Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
    Effective problem solving skills, written communication skills and organizational skills are essential.
    Ability to act with initiative, judgment, tact and diplomacy essential.
    Must be able to learn and adapt quickly.
