The Senior Associate, Human Resources acts as the first point of contact for employees in select national practices or select practices in a geographic area. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for providing HR support our Vancouver office. The incumbent possesses deep understanding of the business directions/needs of the practices/area, and knows the people and people issues; helps to ensure successful implementation of key, high-touch people processes and initiatives in line with the business strategies. . The Senior Associate reports to the Market HR Leader in Vancouver and works closely with colleagues in Canada’s People Team.
Responsibilities:
Serves as the first point of contact for client groups. Addresses and resolves requests, concerns and inquiries.
Implements recurring (HR) processes, including performance management, recruitment and career development. Recommends process improvements as appropriate.
Helps design and implement HR programs and processes for assigned client groups (e.g. reward & recognition, recruitment, and learning events)
Works with the HR Leader to assist in people processes (performance management, career development, coaching, people surveys )
Coordinates with Centre for People Services to ensure proper handling of administrative issues and needs.
To qualify, candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2-4 years related experience
Proficiency in the following competencies: ability to manage multiple priorities, understands the professional service industry, build positive relationships, experience and understanding of employment legislation strong communication (oral and written) skills.
