Kesson Group is looking for a Lead Developer to join a new start-up unit that will develop an online education platform. Kesson Group owns Teach Away Inc , North America’s largest international teacher placement organization, with offices in Toronto, Vancouver, UK, and Australia. The company has recently launched a e-learning and online educational division and is currently involved in partnerships with University of Toronto’s Institute of Education, and USC’s Rossier School of Education, with new partnerships to be announced shortly.
We are looking for a Lead Developer with an entrepreneurial spirit, leadership aspirations, and world-class coding skills to join Kesson Group, and architect and launch an online education platform.
The Lead Developer will work in a start-up environment to launch a new educational technology solution. They will be responsible for leading the development, assisting with IT decisions. They must work effectively with other team members in maintaining and developing an online education platform.
Kesson Group/Teach Away has aggressive plans for rolling out an online educational platform. The successful candidate should have a passion for education while possessing a strong understanding of the user experience, and an ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
The Lead Developer will also be familiar with front end and user interface development. This job is ideal for someone who is now looking to take on a leading role in a entrepreneurial/start-up environment. If you are currently on a large team looking to take more of a leadership role or have previously led a small organization on the technology side, this is may be the perfect fit.
