Manager, International Tax Services (ITS)

As a Manager , you will provide advice and gain experience by:
Advising Canadian and foreign companies on domestic and foreign tax implications of their operations; – Developing industry and technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Technology, Information, Communication and Entertainment; Mining; Forestry; Consumer Industrial Products or Oil and Gas; – Refining your skills in client relations and problem solving; – Managing transactions and projects (for example corporate restructuring and efficient debt financing) and providing advice from an international tax perspective; – Managing staff and providing guidance on career development; and – Identifying and implementing new ITS consulting engagements.
You will handle a diverse client base that will allow you to broaden your experience in the international tax environment; – You will be involved in conducting corporate tax research; and – You will be part of a broad based tax practice.
Requirements:
BA/BSc, CA, CPA, CMA or CGA designation;
- – Good organizational and strong written and oral
- communication skills;
- – Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple assignments;
- – Strong technical tax background;
- – Experience in corporate tax research, consulting and compliance in a professional services firm, industry, government agency and/or law firm is essential;
- – Keen interest in taking initiative for your own personal growth and development;
- – Ability to manage, develop and mentor junior tax professionals;
- and – Computer proficiency.
