As a Physician, you will not only review rare and unusual cases, but also common cases with uncommon presentations. You can expect to review medical files crossing the spectrums of medical specialties, from across Canada and the world, with opportunities to research unfamiliar diseases and treatments. You’ll enhance your knowledge of medicine by seeing how practitioners across the country treat common conditions, in partnership with the underwriting and claims departments of our Individual Insurance business unit.
You’ll work alongside other experienced physicians in a collegial environment, learning and growing in the specialized and fascinating field of insurance medicine. As an active member of the Company’s Medical Board you will build on your insurance medical experience, while collaborating with senior business leaders to share your combined medical and business perspectives in support of our product and practice development.
