Husky Oil Sands is currently looking for a Modularization Lead to be accountable for overseeing the requirements and expectations of the Sunrise modularization program.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Define the strategy for maximizing modularization to offsite fabrication as a key project strategy to minimize the number of working hours at site
Oversee study regarding Asian versus North American Markets
Own the PEP (project execution plan) for modularisation
Defining the module criteria and constructability with respect to allowable size, weight, and transport
Oversee planning and preparation of Logistics/transport requirements
Oversee technical consistency throughout the project
Over see and attend modularisation meetings
Facilitate conflicts and decision making between owner, engineering contractor and fabricator
Oversee the master module list schedule based on the construction required at site dates
Contribute to contracting, construction and other strategies as the module program affects Sunrise

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications;
B.Sc. would be considered an asset
P. Eng. Designation would be considered an asset
Prior experience as a Project Engineer or Manager would be an asset
Experience as a Module Manager on Major SAGD project in Alberta would be an asset
Fabrication Experience is required
