The Finance Department is seeking an individual to work with the Master Data Team to leverage best practice data maintenance techniques, ensuring the integrity of the data conforms to Canada Post and City of Burnaby Standards and procedures. The position is responsible for updating the Master Records in the City’s ERP system and running interface processing programs for Land Titles and BC Assessment. This position, reporting to the Team Lead (Master Data), also has responsibility for interpreting data for reporting and data cleansing purposes. The position involves work with sensitive data; therefore, accuracy in performing the work is needed as is the ability to perform duties in a confidential manner.
The position also performs related work as required and some analysis work is also needed.

This position requires High School graduation including and/or supplemented through related training and/or considerable related experience.
The ability to efficiently utilize related software is required (ie: MS Office); advanced spreadsheet skills (ie: MS Excel) is a requirement.
Strong attention to detail is needed along with strong analytical skills.
Experience working within an SAP environment is preferred.
The ability to work independently is also a requirement.

Status: Temporary Full Time (to December 30, 2014)
