This individuals primary goal is to develop, administer, implement and follow up on company wide food safety programs and occupational safety programs within one or more divisions and/or departments.

This Coordinator plans, designs, develops, implements, and evaluates departmental and company needs as a whole.
 Primary Functions:
1. Understand and maintain compliance under CFIA, USDA, OHSA, WHMIS, HazMat, MOL, GFSI.
2. Understand Agriculture and Industrial ESA sector regulations.
3. Perform job site safety compliance inspections including hazard analysis, safe work procedures, written reports and recommendations.
 4. Conduct weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual internal auditing of both the Food and Health Safety programs.
5. Carry out all training requirements as well as monitor.
6. Maintain a service mentality to assist others as part of the Human Resources Department.

Requirements: - OHSA Part 1 & 11 certification - Global Food Safety Initiation certification - Business Administration, Human Resources accreditation
- Well versed with OHSA Canada & USA (Michigan, Texas)
- Strong English communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Strong organizational skills
- Well spoken, seeks feedback, aggressive w/following up
- Trouble shooter, problem solver, seeks solutions
