Field Services Representative    With annual revenues of $1.9 billion and representing 4,100 Ontario dairy farm businesses, Dairy Farmers of Ontario is the province’s largest agricultural marketing organization. In its production, transportation, and marketing roles, this not-for-profit organization is an essential partner in the Canadian dairy industry. Reporting to the Regional Field Services Manager, the Field Services Representative is primarily responsible for dairy farm regulatory compliance of the federal and provincial milk quality programs.
 Daily responsibilities include visiting farms for inspections and validations, fielding dairy producer concerns and questions, representing DFO’s positioning on policies and programs and collecting farm data. This interactive, field-service position has the following requirements and qualifications:

    Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and ability to build trusting relationships;
    Post secondary degree and/or 3 years experience in industry that practices ISO or HACCP processes;
    Fully bilingual in French and English;
    Above average listening and oral communication skills;
    Ability to prepare and present presentations to various audiences;
    Demonstrated ability to use technology to collect data;
    Demonstrated ability to work independently from a home office;
    Dairy industry knowledge is an asset.

This is a full-time permanent position that will serve dairy producers in Zone A, Glengarry and Prescott counties, in eastern Ontario.
The successful candidate will be required to live in the servicing zone.
Local travel with some provincial travel will be required.
