Position Objective and Scope:
    Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of all fertilizer handling, blending and storage equipment and facilities & delivery equipment located in the east yard. The Fertilizer Plant is not covered by this role.
    Ensure all buildings and mobile equipment (loaders, highway tractors and trailers) are properly maintained and kept cleaned and serviced throughout the business cycle.
    Work with other Client Care Team Players to maximize their efficiencies, complete work scheduling, resolve disputes, and complete all necessary budget planning.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•     Develop, monitor and ensure timely completion of proactive maintenance goals and action plans, both short and long term.
•     Review and implement where necessary Preventative Maintenance Programs.
•     Develop and maintain records and budgets of maintenance and expansions.
•     Monitor and control operational costs in conjunction with established operational and capital budgets.
•     Follow established procedures for loading and receiving product.
•     Make operational improvements to reduce costs and increase productivity of the facility.
•     Use new technology and preventative maintenance processes to maximize efficiencies within the facility.
•     Develop and maintain a network base with equipment and service vendors and providers.
•     Ensure a sufficient parts inventory is maintained to reduce downtown and maximize operational efficiencies.
•     Promote and develop cost saving initiatives including management of utilities and equipment..
•     Develop a work environment that promotes trust, teamwork and safety.
•     Ensure that all yard, maintenance, operational staff and all on site contractors adhere to AGSI’s Safety policies, practices and procedures.
•     Provide outstanding customer service by referring customers to the appropriate Andrukow Group Solutions Team Player or when possible, solving the problem first hand.

Job Knowledge Requirements (knowledge, skills and qualifications):

•     Knowledge of agricultural machinery & fertilizer equipment.
•     Millwright and welding experience considered an asset.
•     Proven skills in preventative maintenance.
•     Ability to cultivate and drive a “Safety First” mindset and follow proper safety techniques.
•     Proven ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
•     Relate and communicate effectively with all members of the agricultural industry
•     Work independently and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
•     Manage time effectively and deliver results accurately, and on time.
•     Initiate positive change, and do what it takes to succeed.
•     Project a positive attitude and optimism to both customers and co-workers.
