Governance, reporting and performance management:
- Document, prepare and present regular program updates for senior management
- Define the Program Review and deep dive agendas
- Support PMO Director in leading the Program Review
- Provide guidance and direction to the multi-functional team regarding priorities, Program Performance and its KPI
Risk management:
- Lead the development / deployment of the program risk management process
- Lead program risk reviews
- Provide guidance and direction to the team regarding risk management activities
Schedule management:
- Lead the development / deployment of the Program schedule management process
- Monitor adherence to Program schedule and proactively mitigate risks
- Conduct Program schedule scenario analysis and provide recommendation to management
Communication management:
- Knowledge and understanding of the business unit key issues and key processes
- Provide guidance and direction to the team regarding communication activities
- Lead communication strategies development and implementation for Challenger.
In your role, you will:
- Understanding of reviews, milestones and deliverables associated with each phase of a development program
- Strong aircraft technical knowledge, in at least 2 of the following disciplines: aircraft structure, systems and avionics, interiors, manufacturing processes
- Have a program management background. Solid experience in "hands-on program management" must have been demonstrated
- Past experience with aircraft development program an asset
- Undergraduate degree preferably technical; business degree an asset
- Computer literate, particularly in MS Office suite with knowledge of data base management, scheduling (including MS Project) and spreadsheets
Qualifications:

- You have the ability to quickly grasp the overall Challenger Program strategy, the technical and business challenges faced by the program, connecting the dots from a vast array of information sources and key program issues
- You are comfortable in representing the program strategy in meetings and interacting with suppliers and customers
- You have strong inter-personal skills are mandatory – a high degree of interaction with internal and core functional teams will be required
- You enjoy working in an environment where there is a high diversity in work scope and where the day to day routine may not be very predictable
