Analyst, Global Risk Management and Insurance

Based in Montreal’s downtown Corporate Office, you will report to the Director, Global Management Risk and Insurance. With recognized expertise, you contribute towards achieving the corporation’s strategic and business objectives in risk management and insurance.

As Analyst, Global Risk Management and Insurance, you will be responsible to:

Support the Director as Program Lead. In this role you will be accountable for an assigned group of corporate insurance programs which encompass the following activities:

 Manage the renewal processes; ensure renewal process timelines and critical path with external supplier are followed.

 Prepare market submissions including the gathering and analysis of underwriting data

 Review and follow up of Renewal program documentation (binders, policies and documentation)

 Manage the corporation’s certificates of insurance: issuance, tracking and renewal

 Allocation, calculation and distribution of the insurance premium charges to the Groups/Divisions, including the monitoring, follow up and collection of premiums due

 Respond to day to day queries from the Groups/Divisions and external service providers

 Be the team lead for the technical aspects of your assigned insurance program

 Monitoring and liaising with the insurance broker/insurers, claims adjusters and Bombardier’s Groups/Divisions

 Comply with OSC/SOX compliance standards and follow through on audit improvements

 Perform other specific tasks related to an assigned program

· Support management in the coordination and monitoring of various projects and management reports

· Participate and contribute in the various communication forums within the department, groups and corporate initiatives

· Provide back up support on the review of contract clauses relative to the indemnity and insurance language for supply, sale, service and procurement agreements

· Actively participate, contribute and deliver on the strategic objectives of the Corporations Achieving Excellence System and certification processes.

Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

· You have a Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent

· You have a professional title in the field of insurance or risk management: CIP, FCIP, CRM, FRM, CAIB

· You have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the insurance industry / risk management and insurance, preferably with a large multinational corporation or insurance company

· You are well organized, rigorous and detail-oriented and thrive to produce quality results

· You have excellent spoken and written communication skills in French and English

· You are a self-motivated person who is customer focused and establishes good interpersonal relationships

· You are able to respond quickly and efficiently to last-minute requests and respect timelines

· You display diplomacy, professionalism and discretion

· You are known for your team spirit and collaboration

· You are proficient in MS Office applications
