Overview:
The Grain Marketing Specialist promotes and markets the grain procurement services and programs offered by Bunge Canada to oilseed producers, agents, and other potential customers in Canada and the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct field calls on current and potential oilseed producers to ensure customers are fully informed about the programs and services offered by Bunge Canada.
Ensure the existing customer base is maintained and focuses on increasing volumes through the acquisition of new customers.
Markets and administers contracting programs such as HEAR and HSO through direct calls on individual producers and/or at general meetings held for producers.
Represents Bunge Canada at various agricultural trade shows.
Maintain constant communication within Bunge Canada by providing timely information of schedules, pricing, contracts and grower information.
Liaise with grain accounting office to ensure accurate and timely processing of bookings, pricings and contracts.
Assist with scheduling deliveries, the grain office as required, and provide customer service coverage for producers, truckers, elevator managers; particularly in the absence of the Grain Manager.
Able to make farm calls 50% of the time.

Qualifications:
Successful completion of a post-secondary education, preferably with an agricultural diploma or degree.
Experience in a sales environment, with a demonstrated aptitude for superior customer service and knowledge of oilseed products.
Unrestricted cross-border mobility.
Demonstrated proficiency in PC applications, such a Word and Excel.
Superior oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with oilseed producers and other Bunge Canada employees.
